This is not a complicated process and can usually be accomplished by a short meeting in person and sometimes over the phone with a loan agent. In many cases a Pre-Approval letter can be faxed to you the same day. With this in hand you are in a much better position to have your offer to purchase accepted. This is very important to most sellers. Sellers will in many cases choose the buyer who has the pre-approval letter over one who does not. I work with a couple of extremely knowledgeable loan agents. I will coordinate and oversee all details When we have made the offer to purchase the home of your choice, the real work begins. . There is a time line for things to take place during this escrow period. Disclosures need to be given to you by the seller. You need to approve or disapprove of the home inspection, termite report and any other reports that you request. There may be counter offers. I will make sure all necessary items are submitted in the specified time and follow-up to make sure the listing agent is doing his/her part to prevent last minute escrow challenges.
